Ven: Adventurous Heart

"As soon a Ventus heard about the other world out there he couldn't help but desperately want to go and see them for himself. Who wouldn't?

But as Master Eraqus told him he was too young, Ven felt an even more desperate desire to go and see for himself. So when he saw Terra activate his Keyblade Armor and realized what he could do he knew he had to follow the man he looked up to as both a brother and an idol.

And although he couldn't help but be worried for him, as that Masked Boy's words left him with a strange omnious feeling, Ven's curiosity couldn't help but rule as he explored these other world.

As his adventurous heart could not rest until he had seen the world around him... and made a few friends along the way."

Kay the under sweater (the black undershirt) is something I actually got from JC Pennies. You could also grab a black turtle neck and cut the sleeves out and sew a bit of it inside to keep it from fraying.

The black and white jacket is actually made from a zip up the front jacket pattern. I made a mock up to make it look like it does here. I also lined it with red lining and used a collar pattern from the vest. Most of the white detailing is from store bought bias tape, but the detaling on the bottom (with the white and black stripes) is actually hand made thanks to a bias tape making machine that I have back at home.

The vest is a normal vest pattern that also lined as well. The design on the vest is heat and bonded and sewn on, I managed to get it on thanks to some help from and . I'd suggest measuring agian and agian to be certian you have it where you want it. Also if you make the stripes too big that no big deal as you can fold a part of them so it'll be the size you want.

The Keyblade Armor (aka the sholder and waist armor) was made using the craft foam armor technique that you guys can find here: [link] I'm planning on adding a few more details to some parts of the armor and I'll be posting the WIP pics of that when I get to it.

The pants were based off of a jeans pattern. However I'm planning on remaking them. I'm thinking about using a baggier cargo pants pattern or something in the like and bringing them in around the middle of the thigh. It'll give a natural puff and be a bit more comfortable than these here (they slide down every five minutes and I can barely walk up the stairs with them).

I have yet to make the boot covers and finish the keyblade but I'll be taking pics when I work on them I'll also be leaving a how-to in the comment box kay guys!
