Took this one on Christmas one year (this was probably the first White Christmas we had in EVER!!)

About a year before it was taken at my aunt's place. They started building the windmills pictured. Everybody was pretty excited about it. As for me... I was more wild about there being another place where clean energy was being made the windmills themselves didn't interest me... Until that Christmas. They were really pretty.

Wind turbines do look really cool...to me at least.

Yeah they do, I have no idea what was going on in my head before hand now I think they are one of my favorite parts of visiting my relatives up north.

And I can't say we see that much snow- we do see ice though and lots of it. >.<

I'm from waaaay up in northern Illinois, so they're not a new sight to me. Still think they're cool. There's even one outside my town!
